Do you believe in Angels? There are those that say they have had an encounter with angels. There are many biblical accounts of visiting angels, Hebrew 13:2 tells us not to forget to entertain strangers, because in doing so we may be entertaining angels unaware. When Joshua had a multitude of people in his care, He had to trust God, God gave Joshua an encounter with an Angel. In the bible it states in Joshua 5:13 Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, “Are you for us or for our enemies?” God will send Angels as messengers or protectors, Angels are a very widely discussed topic. Many wonder about them and there are many that believe in them. As we come upon Christmas we will see a lot of them in decorations, tree ornaments, window decor, yard decorations, etc. The bible specifically tells us in many places that angels are among us.
God has given his angels watch over us to protect us, he tells us in Psalm 91:11 for he will command his angels to protect you in all your ways. (ISV) It is so reassuring to know that we have such a loving God that is always concerned for us, He is always watching our backs.
Most times I think we go on our way not even thinking about it, but when there’s a close call and we seemed to miss ultimate disaster that even the skeptics will claim, someone must be watching out for you. God is Good!
