In a world of so much information, we are in an information overload, overloaded on rhetoric and deceit, overload of fear and chaos, all to divert us and succumb us into a complacent numbness, it’s time to wake up and shake off the cobwebs. There’s one thing that we need to hold on to and it’s the promise Jesus made, That there’s power in the name of Jesus to break every chain, to loose the captive and set free the oppressed. (Luke 4:18)
Jesus came to give us all that and so much more. We cannot lay low and just remain hidden, Jesus said that a city on a hill cannot be hidden, and that a candle which gives light will not be placed under a basket. Let your light so shine before men and see your good works that they would glorify your Father which is in heaven, because you have been appointed to be the light of the world. (Mathew 5:14-16)
Rise up in confidence knowing that if God be for you, who could be against you. Greater is He that is in you than He that is in the World. Jesus said that all authority in heaven and in earth have been given to Him, He tells us to go forth and proclaim His word and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father , the Son and the Holy Spirit, Jesus said He would be with us Always, even to the end.
You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Phil 4:13)
