Do you remember when the movie Judgement day came out ? There have been many movies with the concept of the end of the world, like Armageddon, Apocalypse, This is the End and The Day after Tomorrow to name a few.
The days are looking more and more like Judgement Day. Deep seeded sin that has been simmering and is now at an all time high, It’s getting ready to boil over. We’re seeing evil show it’s face in abortions,especially the extreme gruesome act being sanctioned to take place all the way to the day of birth. Senseless murders are happening, innocent people are being killed in cold blood. Lawlessness abounding in the streets, destruction and disrespect being displayed in the guise of social justice. These disturbing turn of events can be seen chronicled in the word of God. Mathew 24:12 12 And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.
The law was not given for the law abiding but for the transgressor, it’s a tool, a measuring rod, a guide to keep people on track so that we can all live a peaceful life. There is a loud cry to remove those who uphold the law, Our society needs Police officers, Peace Keepers and the idea of removing them, or de-funding them is a fundamentally absurd idea. The effects of doing so are seen right now in cities where the Police are being restricted, or even replaced, in those cities violence has increased.
The bible tells us very clearly that in the last days we will experience perilous times, 2 timothy 3:2 1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
We are definitely approaching the last days, the birth pains have been happening at an increased rate , earth quakes in diverse places,droughts,pestilence, unrest, signs in the heavens ( super moons, blood moon, asteroids) Luke 21:11 and 25 11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. 25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
We are living in a time where we need to look up for our redemption is near. As believers in Jesus Christ we need to remain faithful, our task for the days ahead are to pray for our nation, our President, for the World and for Salvation to the lost. Also to keep in mind the saints, especially those who are undergoing persecution, some even unto death.They need our prayers, stay strong remain alert, and be prepared to share your faith with those who need the Lord. The return of the Lord Jesus is soon, continue to pray, be filled with the spirit and remain alert and keep your oil lamp filled.
